Jr. Business Analyst

Job Description

OX is looking for a Junior Business Analyst with experience across multiple digital projects: eCommerce, Marketing sites, mobile applications,  PWAs, product design and development.  

With a strong business acumen and ability to bring product visions to life, the ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate lead that can  drive the right conversation and collaborate cross functionally with multiple stakeholders of both the client and agency.  

Responsibilities

  • Drive conversation between several functions with client & agency including: Business Leaders, IT, Design, UX to gather needed  information to produce Business Requirements to support a product vision
  • Understand technical architecture and help identify gaps between existing systems and what will be needed for a successful product Translate business requirements into user stories
  • Work closely with UX/UI and agency dev teams to ensure designs and builds are aligned to user stories and that all functional teams  have the information they need to build/design in a timely fashion
  • Help maintain all features planning documentation
  • Help maintain all action logs between client and agency teams 

Requirements

  • 3 – 5+ years of BA or Product Management experience
  • Must have professional client presence and demeanor
  • Experience working with UX, Product Design and Development teams
  • Experience working closely with various business teams to define requirements
  • Understanding of different tools and ways to tease out the right information needed for product design teams such as: user journey  mapping, systems mapping
  • Be process oriented, but more importantly have the ability to be flexible and change process when needed
  • Ability to work within an agile environment 

Experience in the following is a plus

  • Experience working in B2B
  • Experience with working with enterprise level and smaller technologies
  • Mobile and/or Web app project experience
  • Service design experience

Location 

Chicago (Remote with plans to return to our Chicago offices by Jan 2022 if not earlier)
