Business Development Representative

Job Description

As a Business Development Representative at OX your role is primarily responsible for identifying potential new business opportunities for the company with an emphasis on individual effort and results. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you’ll support OX’s growth through prospecting and client acquisition activities working in a team environment. You’ll also support OX marketing efforts to help form new business relationships and spark brand awareness in our industry.

Responsibilities

  • Pursues net-new business opportunities through outbound channels including but not limited to cold calling, email campaigns, social, trade show events, partnerships and alliances, etc
  • Schedules introductory meetings with prospective client contacts to facilitate with OX leadership
  • Work with our Project Management and Client Strategy Teams to put together pitch presentations and proposals
  • Maintains a healthy pipeline and reports deal stages to internal leadership
  • Assists in OX marketing activities including but not limited to trade shows, conference booth activities, event email campaigns, vendor partner efforts, etc
  • Conducts research to further industry and solution knowledge and leverages the information for prospective client messaging purposes
  • Works hard to have high weekly prospecting activity in order to achieve Quarterly Business Development Quota expectations

Requirements

  • Business development, inside sales, or related experience, preferably with agency services background and proven track record in driving sales results
  • Bachelor's Degree required with preferred focus on professional selling, marketing, or communications
  • Knowledge of technology platform landscape
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Understanding of company’s offerings and ability to communicate our services and value proposition
  • Competitive attitude and individual drive
  • Works well in team settings
  • Experience with sales, marketing, and research tools
